Our Story

Built by someone who lived through it

VizGuides isn't a corporate website. It's a resource built by a Pakistani-Irish man who struggled through the exact same process you're going through — and decided to make it easier for everyone else.

We built the guide we wish we had

We are Pakistani-Irish, and we know Ireland's immigration systems inside out — not because we studied them in a classroom, but because we had no choice but to learn them the hard way.

When someone close to us pursued a medical career in Ireland, we spent months trying to understand the IMC registration process. The official websites were confusing. The Facebook groups were full of outdated or simply wrong information. And the "agents" offering help were charging significant fees for guidance that should have been straightforward to find.

We got through it — but it was harder than it needed to be. And that stayed with us.

"Then friends and family started asking for help with study visas. And again, we saw the same problem — people being misled, overcharged, and taken advantage of. We decided to write everything down properly, once and for all."

From conversations to a proper resource

What started as voice notes and messages to friends and family became VizGuides — a place where every step of every process is written clearly, honestly, and in one place.

We are not a visa agency. We are not lawyers. We are not a recruitment company. We are simply people who have been through these processes, helped others navigate them, and want to make sure that no one gets misled by those taking advantage of how confusing these systems can be.

Everything on VizGuides is sourced from official Irish government websites and regulatory bodies — verified, kept up to date, and written in plain English.

Three things VizGuides stands for

Protect people from fraud

Visa fraud targeting Pakistani and South Asian communities is real and widespread. Unqualified "agents" charge thousands for guidance you shouldn't need to pay for. VizGuides gives you the knowledge so no one can take advantage of you.

📋

Make complexity simple

Irish immigration and medical registration processes are genuinely complex. We translate every step into plain, simple English — no legal jargon, no confusion, no unnecessary barriers between you and the information you need.

🤝

Independent and honest

VizGuides is completely independent — we are not paid by colleges, visa agencies, or the Irish government to promote anything. What you read here is honest, unbiased information you can trust.

⚠️ The problem we're solving

People are being charged €500–€2,000 by fake "visa agents" for guidance that is available through official government channels.
Facebook groups are filled with outdated, wrong, or deliberately misleading information about Irish visas and IMC registration.
International doctors are being given incorrect IMC registration advice, causing months of delays and wasted fees.
Students are paying upfront for college placements from agents who disappear once the money is sent.
VizGuides was created specifically to cut through this — with verified, clearly written guidance you can rely on.

You deserve accurate, trustworthy information

The Irish immigration and medical registration systems are publicly documented. The information exists. The problem is it's scattered across dozens of government websites, written in legal language, and updated without notice.

VizGuides does the hard work of finding, verifying, simplifying, and keeping that information up to date — presented clearly so you always know exactly where you stand.
